in Noord Sardinië 1 week – 93 mijl.

Portisco
De Garibaldi zeiltocht is een klassieke en ontspannende zeilroute,
zowel geschikt voor kleine en grote jachten. Het merendeel van het
zeilen vindt plaats onder de beschutting van de eilanden binnen de
Maddalena Archipel. Dat is ook waarom we minder ervaren bemanningen
aanraden om deze route te volgen. De gemiddelde afstand is 16 mijl
per dag
1e DAG : Portisco - Cala di Volpe – Golfo Aranci (15 N.M.)
De eerste dag is een zeer ontspannen zeiltocht om te wennen aan het
schip. We verlaten Portisco in
de ochtend en gaan naar het noorden om na 3 mijl voor anker te gaan
in Cala di Volpe, deze baai wordt gekenmerkt door een lang strand en
het beroemde hotel met dezelfde naam. U kunt hier heel beschut
liggen met alle winden, en daarom wordt deze baai ook gebruikt door
vele grote jachten. Vanaf hier zeilen we naar Golfo Aranci,
rechtstreeks ongeveer 10 mijl afstand en 2 uur genieten. Golfo
Aranci ligt aan het begin van de baai van Olbia. Aranci is een
rustig vissersdorpje gelegen aan een mooie baai met witte
zandstranden. Vanuit de baai heeft u uitzicht op het eiland Tavolara,
een indrukwekkend rots eiland dat oprijst uit het water. Aan de wal
kunt u genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd in een vis restaurant en
is er gelegenheid om inkopen te doen.
2e DAG: Golfo Aranci -> Caprera
(20 N.M.)
Nadat we Golfo Aranci verlaten varen we in noordelijke richting
langs de kust waar de beroemde jachthaven van Porto Cervo is
gelegen. Na Capo Ferro met de indrukwekkende vuurtoren op de top van
de rotsen gaan we in westelijke richting naar het prachtige eiland
Caprera. De afstand is ongeveer 20 nautische mijlen. We zeilen
verder naar Cala Porto Palma in het zuiden van Caprera. Het hoge
contrast van het kristalheldere blauwe water met het roze van de
rotsen zal uw ogen zeker bekoren. We overnachten in de baai waar
twee zeilscholen gevestigd zijn en zeilcursussen geven. Er liggen
meerboeien in de baai die u kunt gebruiken of u kunt achter uw eigen
anker overnachten. De ankergrond is heel goed.
3e DAG: Caprera -> Santa Maria
-> Santa Teresa di Gallura (20 NM)
Na uw vertrek zeilt u ten zuiden van Caprera en Santo Stefano en ten
noorden van Capo d'Orso.
Deze kaap staat bekend om zijn rots in de vorm van een beer. Na
Santo Stefano verlegt u koers in noordelijke richting en zeilt u
tussen Spargi en La Maddalena. De ingang van de baai van Santa Maria
wordt gekenmerkt door een in het midden boven water gelegen rots
(rif). U kunt deze zowel links of rechts passeren. Dit eiland is een
van de noordelijkste punten van Sardinië, de baai heeft
kristalhelder water en een goede zandbodem om te ankeren. Direct aan
het strand is er een kleine steiger waar zeilboten niet kunnen
aanmeren maar die u met de bijboot kunt gebruiken. Santa Maria is
het enige kleine eilandje dat in de zomer wordt bewoond. Vervolgens
zeilen we naar Santa Teresa di Gallura, dit zal ongeveer 2 uur in
beslag nemen, de afstand is ongeveer 10 mijl. Het is een diep in het
land gelegen natuurlijke fjord met jachthaven, deze is recentelijk
vernieuwd. Het dorp biedt een prachtig uitzicht op Bonifacio en zuid
Corsica. Een van de traditionele activiteiten is het vissen en
verwerken van koraal; veel winkels bieden van koraal gemaakte
artikelen en sieraden aan.
4e DAG: Santa Teresa di Gallura
-> Lavezzi -> Cala Liscia Ruia (18 NM)
Lavezzi Island ligt op 6 mijl afstand van S. Teresa di Gallura,
ongeveer een uur varen. De beste baai Cala Lazarina bevindt zich aan
de Zuid-Westkant van het eiland. Bestudeer aandachtig de zeekaarten
voor het naderen van deze baai. Er zijn hier geen bewoners maar een
paar koeien en ezels. Ze zijn niet gevaarlijk ondanks dat ze een
soort van verrassing en verwarring veroorzaken, vooral bij niet goed
geïnformeerde toeristen die van de zon genieten op het strand.
Achter het strand bevindt zich een kerkhof waar de bemanning van het
Franse fregat Semillante begraven liggen die op deze rotsen tot
zinken kwam in 1885. Lavezzi is een van de mooiste eilanden van het
gehele gebied. Nadat u het anker heeft opgehaald zeilt u tussen
Spargi en Budelli bent u weer onderweg naar de Maddalena Archipel.
Na 12 mijl en ongeveer 2 uur, bereikt u Cala Liscia Ruia. De baai is
erg mooi met een goede beschutting tegen de wind met uitzondering
van wind uit Zuid, Zuidoost-en Oost. Let goed op met de navigatie in
verband met de aan de oppervlakte gelegen rotsen aan de linkerzijde
van de ingang.
5e DAG : Cala Liscia Ruia ->
Cala Corsara -> Cannigione (13 N.M.)
Na uw vertrek uit Cala Liscia Ruia kunt u koers zetten naar het
eiland Spargi, waar u kunt aanmeren, na minder dan 1 uur en 4 mijl,
in Cala Corsara. Deze baai wordt gekenmerkt door gladde granieten
rotsen, kristalhelder water en wit zand; het is een goede
schuilplaats voor de Mistral. In de middag kunt u heerlijk zeilen
tussen de eilanden van de Maddalena Archipel richting Cannigione.
Dit ligt op 9 mijl afstand gelegen in een natuurlijke diepe fjord
aan het einde van de Golf van Arzachena. In deze baai zijn diversen
prachtige ankerplekken en stranden. We meren af in de haven en kunt
u het dorpje verkennen.
6e DAG : Cannigione -> Isola
Mortorio -> Portisco (15 N.M.)
Nadat we Cannigione verlaten zetten we eerst koers naar het Noorden
en later Oost / Zuid-Oosten. We passeren Porto Cervo en zeilen de
golf van Congianus binnen, van waaruit u vertrokken bent op de
eerste dag. Het eiland Mortorio staat bekend om zijn woeste
landschappen en meeuwen samen met het helder kristal ondiepe water:
een groot aantal films zijn genomen tussen hier en Cala di Volpe.
Isola Mortorio ligt 3 n.m. ten oosten van Cala di Volpe. De mooiste
ankerplaats is aan de zuidwestelijke kant van het eiland. Een
heerlijke plek om na te genieten van een prachtige week. Er resten
slechts 4 n.m. tussen u en uw eindbestemming: Marina di Portisco.
Deze route kunt u heel
goed zelf zeilen als u een ervaren zeiler bent. Maar als u ook van
gezelligheid houdt dan is het misschien leuk om in onze flottielje

1st day (Saturday)
Embarking in Portoferraio in late afternoon. Welcome cocktail.
Presentation of the crew and information concerning the cruise and
the boat. Guests are taken to their cabins. Navigation to Capraia
island. Dinner and over night on board in a quiet bay.
2nd day (Sunday)
Breakfast on board, with the possibility in the morning to visit
Capraia. Navigation to the southern coast of the island. Lunch on
board; stop in Cala Rossa for swimming and snorkelling. In late
afternoon navigation along the north – western coast. Return to Elba
island after about two hours of navigation; anchorage in Marciana
Marina harbour. Dinner and over night on board.
3rd day (Monday)
After breakfast navigation to the west coast of Elba. Stops in the
wonderful beaches of Ripa Barata and Cotoncello. Lunch on board and
departure for south coast; stop in Fetovaia creek for swimming. In
the afternoon navigation to Marina di Campo bay; anchorage in late
afternoon. Dinner and over night on board
4th day (Tuesday)
Breakfast on board. Departure to Giglio Island. Arriving after four
hours navigation about; during the navigation will be possible to do
deep fishing in a very rich of fishes part of Mediterranean sea.
Anchorage in Cala Calbugina, impressive bay with beautiful bottoms
and crystalline sea water. Lunch and relax on board. In the
afternoon navigation to Giglio harbour; possibility to visit the
little town of Giglio island. Dinner and over night on board.
5th day (Wednesday)
Breakfast on board. Departure to Cannelle’s beach, stop for swimming
and water activities.
Navigation to Giannutri island; arriving after one hour about at
Cala Maestra, interesting bay where is possible to visit ancient
Roman ruins in very good conditions. We inform that in Giannutri
island there is a Marin park and in this area navigation and
swimming are forbidden. Lunch on board. In the afternoon free for
swimming and water activities. In the evening navigation to the main
bay of the island, Cala Spalmatoi, a very peaceful creek. Dinner and
over night on board in Cala Spalmatoi.
6th day (Thursday)
After breakfast on board swimming and water activities in Cala
Spalmatoi, with clear and crystalline water rich of fishes. Lunch on
board. In the afternoon navigation to the west coast of Giglio
island; anchorage in Campese bay. Dinner and over night on board.
7th day (Friday)
Breakfast on board. Departure to Elba island; stops in the wild and
uninhabited islets named Formiche di Grosseto with the possibility
to play water activities. Arriving at Elba island and Punta Calamita
about at 2.00 pm. Lunch on board. In the evening arriving at Porto
Azzurro, during the navigation will be possible to visit some
beautiful creeks. Anchorage in Porto Azzurro bay. Dinner and over
night on board.
8th day (Saturday)
Early morning departure to the east coast of the island; breakfast
on board during the navigation. Stop for last swimming in Zupignano
beach.
Disembarking at 10,30 am in Portoferraio.

4th day (Tuesday)
After breakfast departure to the wonderful Ponza Island. Stop for
swimming in Frontone creek. Lunch on board. Dinner and over night on
board in Ponza bay.
5th day (Wednesday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation around Ponza island. Lunch on board.
Swimming and relax time. Dinner and over night on board in Cala
Ghiaia di Luna, the most famous beach of Pontine archipelago.
6th day (Thursday)
Breakfast on board. Departure for the beautiful and uninhabited
island of Palmarola. Navigation around the island. Lunch on board.
Stop in Cala del Francese or return to Ponza. Dinner and over night
on board.
7th day (Friday)
After breakfast navigation to Formia coasting the green Zannone
island, place were are living the pilgrim hawk and white stork.
Lunch on board during the navigation. Dinner and over night on
board.
8th day (Saturday)
After breakfast on board disembarking in Formia within 9,00 o’clock.

Lunch on board and prosecution of the sailing towards the port of

After breakfast navigation along the Southern coast of the Salina
island, disembarking at the picturesque port of Rinella. Lunch on
board. Stop for swimming in the wonderful scenario of the Pollara
bay and departure to Filicudi. Dinner and over night on board.
4th day (Tuesday)
Breakfast on board and navigation around the Filicudi island, free
time for swimming and relax time in the most characteristic places
of this marvellous island. Lunch on board. Departure to Alicudi.
Dinner and over night on board.
5th day (Wednesday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation around the Alicudi island, swimming
and relax time in the most characteristic places of this marvellous
island. Lunch on board. Departure for Salina, exploration of the
Northern Coast, with the typical village of Malfa and arrival in
Panarea, considered to be the most “snob” of the Aeolian Islands.
Dinner and over night on board.
6th day (Thursday)
After Breakfast on board, walking in the alleys of Panarea
discovering its boutiques and pre-historical sites or possibility to
do a sea tour in crystalline water among small islands and submarine
solfataras (sulphureous volcanos). Lunch on board. Departure to
Stromboli. Dinner and over night on board.
7th day (Friday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation around the Stromboli island and
departure to Vulcano island. Lunch on board. Visit of the most
typical places o the island. Dinner and over night on board.

Departure after breakfast to the famous Capraia Island.

then arrival in the Capraia bay, where you can visit the typical

3rd day (Monday)
After breakfast navigation in the “Cetaceans’ Sanctuary”. The boat
starts its navigation to Corsica island. Stop for swimming and
sunbathing on the wonderful beach of Santa Maria. Lunch on board. In
the late afternoon departure to the famous town of Saint – Florent.
Dinner and over night on board.
4th day (Tuesday)
Breakfast on board. You can spend this day to swimming and
sunbathing in the splendid blue water lapping the small white
beaches of the Désert Des Agriates, until to reach the wonderful
Saleccia beach. Lunch, dinner and over night on board.
5th day (Wednesday)
After breakfast departure to Ile Rousse. Time for swimming. Lunch on
board. Dinner and over night on board in the wonderful Ile Rousse
gulf.
6th day (Thursday)
After breakfast departure to the typical village named Calvi. Stop

the possibility to visit the wonderful town of Calvi.

Breakfast on board. The boat will go on sailing the whole day, so
that passengers can catch sight of dolphins and cetaceans. Stop for

In the afternoon navigation around the island to discover the
wonderful creeks in Capraia. Time for swimming. Late afternoon back
to Capraia harbour. Possibility to visit the typical village. Dinner
and over night on board.
3rd day (Monday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation around Elba Island coast. Stop for
swimming in Ripa Barata and Cotoncello creeks. Lunch on board. In
the afternoon possibility to diving and snorkelling excursions. In
the late afternoon anchorage in Marciana Marina bay. Dinner and over
night on board.
4th day (Tuesday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation to the southern coast of Elba island.

swimming in the creek of Laconella and Ghiaieto. Lunch on board. In
the afternoon possibility to do diving and snorkelling excursions
with on board diving. Short navigation and stop in a beautiful
Acquarilli bay. Dinner and over night on board.
6th day (Thursday)
Breakfast on board. Navigation to “mining” area of Elba Island. Stop
for swimming in Calanchiole creek with light blue sea water and
white sand. Short navigation to Stella Bay in Barabarca creek, a
pearl of Elba island. After lunch on board navigation until Calamita
point. Swimming at Miniera di Calamita beach and Vetrangoli or Punta
Rossa. During the navigation to Porto Azzurro will be possible to
visit the impressive Stagnone, Miniera dei Sassi Neri, Punta Nera
and Istia beaches. Dinner and over night on board in Porto azzurro.
7th day (Friday)
Breakfast on board. Departure to the east zone of the island, rich
of beaches and wonderful creeks like Ortano Bay, Luisi d’Angelo
beach and Malpasso di Rio with her dark and shining sand. Lunch on
board in Cala di Capo Castello. In the afternoon navigation to
Portoferraio Bay; stop for swimming in Zupignano and Secche beaches.
In the evening anchorage in Portoferraio bay. Dinner and over night
on board.
8th day (Saturday)
After breakfast on board disembarking in Portoferraio within 9,00
o’clock.
